The Lambeth Net-Zero Programme aims to foster diversity and inclusivity within the climate tech space by encouraging women—especially women of colour—to participate and go on to build successful ventures. Delivered in alignment with Lambeth’s Net-Zero Agenda, the programme is focused on key thematic areas including energy-efficient buildings and homes, sustainable and affordable energy generation, waste reduction and recycling, biodiversity and environmental quality, and low-emission transportation. As part of the programme, we are running a hackathon designed to give participants the confidence and support to explore their ideas and begin building climate-focused projects, helping them take the first steps toward becoming climate innovators. If you’re an eligible Lambeth business, you could receive a £5000 grant as part of our business programme to help tackle local environmental and sustainability challenges.
